Complaint Review: bergen risk

i obtained injuries at my job on 2/14/15  , sprain to my shoulders and strain to my lower back according to xrays taken at health center. which ended up being tendonitsis when i had to pay for my own mri because worker comp didnt approve it   even though i had been waitingtwo month after injuries .my injuries were diagnosed by dr flowers in febuary when i started going to these comp doctors . she asked for me to get x-rays the same day i saw her for my injuries. i wasnt given any days off work even though i was in lots of pain . this doctor told  me to take advil.

second time i saw dr flowers for follow up she said i was fine ready to go back to work two days after injury i was still in lots of pain. i went back to work hurting my self more thinking these doctor are trying to work for my safty and health .  i complained to my boss about pain nothing gain total waste of time.i then went back to the doctor ,when i got there i signed in waited then told when called that i had been disharged by dr flowers. i then insisted so i was seen by dr slater she took better care of me by giving me restrictions no pulling ,lifting, muscle relaxers and pills for inflammation  .  i was put on light duty still i felt lots of pain because the light duty made it worse i had to repeatly move lift my shoulders.

i returned to slater she then had asked me what do you think we should do ?. i had mentioned physical therapy she said good lets do that. then to an orthopedic that she said if i had complains i should contact. . she also discharged me.  i  go to therapy didnt work out because i was going to my job then therapy which i felt was not healing my muscles .i was suppose to be resting not pulling or lefting strings . i then switch to my own doctors after such poor outcomes . my mind set was to heal as soon as possible in order to proform my duties but they didnt let me heal they want to discharge the claim quickly to not pay.

i was then sent to a orthopedic that once again x-ray taken after xray you are completly fine good to go back to work . i then told him could i do regular activities like yoga ,zumba, and lift weights? he said YES! but if you feel anything let me know, mind you i was recently injured not to long ago . i went back to work i was so disappointed that i had belived in these doctors that took an oath in making sure they give the best care they can. i lost hope i didnt know who to speak with i was lost in a limbo. i then went to my own doctors. as im seeing these doctors im also seeing mine very different comparing to the comp doctors . my doctor put me on resrictions so that i heal asking questions of my symtoms  . i was then put on light duty again for a couple of days .then pulled back to regular duty . i told my boss again that the light duty was hurting me. she was upset didnt really help.

my doctor would not release me in to regular duty because medically she couldnt . i was hurt i couldnt perform regular duty . so they put me on personal  disablity and use my days  because i had to get a note from doctor ortho from works men comp to gave me time off . it was never happening because the doctor had sent a report with me that i was discharged and exceeded my medical benefits. when i was almost done with my disablity my personal days . i spoke to my human resource department worker comp was contacted they send me to an other ortho doctor berman . i had my mri test, which i had to pay a copay of $two hundred and eighty six up front then get billed the rest which was five hundred 0r more in total cost while on disability.

when i attened the appointment i was told by this doctor that i had tendonitsis  on both shoulders because of  the mri reports. but he said my back was fine nothing there . by the way my back is still hurting . he gives me two weeks to rest through workmen comp remember my personal days were being used even thoug it was a work related injury. i go back to him after two weeks .." a miracle happened" oh my goodness i have nothing im normal now . two weeks im normal everything has healed . this is what pisses me off . with out going back for an MRI  he is certain im healed but i still feel pain in both shoulders and had a lidocaine patch that i showed him on my lower back . he said you shouldnt use that mind you my doctor personally recommended them to me wrote me a priscription . he then said you are ready to go back to work ignoring my pains saying that my report said from the frist report that  im fine but im not .

this doctor doesnt have a clue of what i do at my job . but he is sending me back to work. he then said to call workers comp back  because im not agreeing with him .and for me to ask for a second opinion with an other doctor.  i never expected all this enjustice. the frist month i cryed because  this has been the frist time i had obtain an ijury at a job .i thought i was going crazy because these doctors told me with certainty that i was fine with out an MRI bbeing done  ,but i was in so much pain .  not one of these doctors push for a MRI just xrays how was ever going to know what i had . this experience has caused me so much strees . everytime i think of going to these workmens comp doctors i get scared because of the discrimination so biased . they minimize injuries not knowing or not thinking of the damage they could cause a person for the rest of there lifes if not treated properly.
