Together,Inc. in Irvine has taken $2000 to provide me with "dates". 3 weeks after taking payment they closed the office. 3 months later after NO contact somebody from their "home office" offers to set me up with some dates. I said I wanted my money back.
I have tried unsuccessfully to demand refund from the "corporate" office in Bozeman, Montana (a telephone voicemail and a PO Box.)
I'm married now, didn't need these slimey people as it turns out, but it makes me mad that they prey on people who are lonely. I know that others out there have been cheated as I did a newsgroup plea once, with a number of similar ripoffs.
The company claims that they are a franchise company, and bear no responsibility for the actions of the franchisees. BAD BUSINESS!!! WARN OTHERS TO STAY AWAY for their own good.

If you want to catch them all you need is a magazine and a cup of coffee.
Take it down to the mailbox and sit outside until one of the clowns comes down to get the mail, then follow them to their new location.
Obtain the information of the owners at the location where they are normaly by looking up the address or contact the landlord then serve them with a small claims order.
Once you win which you will because they will not go to court due to the circumstances behind your claim you then wait 30 days and then request a Keeper from the Sheriffs office to go to their location and sit there for the day the Keeper will start making an inventory report if they do not come up with your money by the end of the day the Keeper will start removing fax machines computers etc until he thinks the value of your
claim can be met at auction.
They will not be allowed to remove anything while he is sitting there and any monies that come in are seized on the spot.
They also cannot threaten the keeper because that would be no different to threatening a police officer and would result in Jail plus fines.
