I can't believe what a fool I was... and in a funny way, I am comforted by all these testimonies. Same story... walking down 18th Street and 6th Avenue towards 7th Avenue, this guy in a grey mini-van with NJ license plates is looking for the Lincoln Tunnel. Reasonable, so I gave him instructions, even suggested the Holland tunnel.

He asks what line of business I am in, then tells me about these leather jackets that he cannot take with him on his flight back to Italy because he does not want to pay customs tax. He introduces himself as Francesco, shows me his italian passport and a plane ticket with his name, which he closes quickly, but he was such a strong and believable, persuasive talker that i was taken in by the 3 Armani leather jackets he would give me as a present but I would have to buy the third which was a female's jacket, for $800.

I was reluctant, then suggested $500, and withdrew the money from a Chase ATM and gave it to him, all the while thinking "A fool parts with his money" but I admit, I really was caught off guard and was not thinking. He got me. Now I have three jackets that fit, but they are fake! If you don't laugh you'll go crazy. Salvation Army, here I come!
