Complaint Review: ** FRAUD ** Alexio.cz

We were thinking about starting a business in Prague and settling in this beautiful city with our family, but we needed help on getting a visa and advice on how to start a business in the Czech Republic. So we came across this advert on the internet from Alexio.cz. Roald A. van de Munt was only person in the office when visited him.  He claims to be very experienced businessman in the Czech Republic, and offered us ways to invest in this country. He recommended that we start a restaurant and bar business, and want to be our partner since he has business experience in this country and we needed his expertise so we agreed that he gets 20% of the business if he manages it and we will provide the capital. He had a business plan made up and claims that he had started the company and needed for us to transfer the money into the company bank account, so we did, but what a mistake! After we transfer the money to the company bank account,  he then transfered it to another bank account in another country and claims that that was the money we owe him for his services! We lost 200,000 Kc. Hope this will be a lesson for not dealing with strangers in a foreign country in business. We made the mistake that we did not investigate his background very carefully, because if we did we could have seen his not so clean business history. Hope this will prevent someone from being ripoff in the future.
