"Master" Alain Burrese - Hapkido Instructor?? Alain Burrese - Fake Hapkido Instructor - Has No Dojo & No Students! Missoula MT
"Master" Alain Burrese is a complete fraud as a martial arts instructor! I just moved to Missoula, MT. I have been a Hapkido student for 8 years and was hoping to find an instructor close to my new home. I found Alain Burrese's name on the internet. He claimed to be a Hapkido instructor so I called him up to find out about his classes.
I asked him where he held his classes. He stammered around and finally said that he only teaches private lessons now. I said that would be great, where are your private lessons? He started to stammer around even more and then HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! What kind of martial arts teacher hangs up on a prospective student??
I thought this was extremely rude! This led me to do some research on Alain Burrese. What I found was unreal! This guy is a scam artist! He makes claims all over the internet about being an internationally know martial arts master and instructor. The thing is he has no dojo, no students and no classes. He IS NOT an instructor at all. I think he just writes this on the net to make himself seem important and to sell his books! It is all a LIE!
What I found on the net did not stop at that. He has many complaints about his dishonest claims. Many people seem to have had bad experiences with him.
I feel lucky that he did not meet me for lessons or anything. After what I have read about him I am so happy that he hung up on me. If he hadn't I would have ended up being taught by a complete fraud! STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING CONNECTED TO ALAIN BURRESE!!!!! He is a FAKE!!

I read the last rebuttal and it is fake. It is Alain Burrese under a fake name. Burrese has posted this fake response to every negative complaint about himself to try to stop this information about him from getting out. Everyone in martial arts now knows about Alain Burrese and knows he is a fake. I called the gym that he now works at. They have only been open for 10 years so how could he have been working there for 17? He will say anthing and lie about anything to try to keep people from finding out the truth about him.
I did some checking on these claims. Burrese is a charlatin! Everytime somebody complains about his underhanded ways he tries to misdirect them and claims it has to do with two guys.....Richard Hackworth and Bohdi Sanders. I check both of these guys out too to find the truth. Turns out that both Richard Hackworth and Bohdi Sanders are well respected in the martial arts world and have been attacked by this Alain Burrese character! Burrese has tried to defame their characters for his personal gain and failed. He has been outed to the entire martial arts world! Burrese is a total fraud. He has lost his following and blames these two men instead of taking responsibility for his own shortcomings. Google Alain Burrese and you will find dozens of complaints about this man.
There are no photos of Burrese in a martial arts tournament. No evidence that he is a martial arts master or anything of the sort. He is a failed lawyer who has been sued for defamation of character before and makes a habit of defaming anyone who he dislikes on the internet. This man is nothing more than a con man and a shady character. Calling him a liar is just scratching the surface. FAKE....FAKE.....FAKE......FAKE! Alain Burrese is a FRAUD!

Kevin...yeah, right, total BS. Never happened. Just more of the Bohdi Sanders and Richard Hackworth smear campain...want info on Alain's Hapkido program and reputation in Missoula, call the gym he teaches out of, Ridge Fitness (formly Gold's Gym) in Missoula. Alain has been teaching the same class there for something like 17 years. Don't be a stooge and get taken in by Bohdi Sanders' and Richard Hackworth's online smear campain...pick up the phone and check for yourself.
