Complaint Review: (((NAME(S) REDACTED DUE TO PERCEIVED HARASSMENT / CYBERSTALKING / CYBERBULLYING / REVENGE POST)))

EDITOR’S COMMENT(1/15/2021):  Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, especially when consumers are truthfully warning other consumers about potential frauds, scams, rip-offs or the like by shady individuals or businesses.  Ripoff Report is by consumers, for consumers…and we want to keep it that way!  Unfortunately this Report was posted and, upon additional information, appears to have been primarily for the purpose of bullying or harassment.  In many instances Ripoff Report will reach out to the author of the Report to obtain further information.  In other instances, enough information is provided to Ripoff Report to warrant redactions without reaching out to the author.  Ripoff Report is working to combat tactics that are perceived to be cyberharassment, cyberstalking, cyberbullying and/or what is generally considered a “revenge post” as we do not condone such behavior.

NOW TO THE EDITORIALLY REDACTED POSTING(S):

I met (((REDACTED))), owner of (((REDACTED))), through his wife and kids in (((REDACTED))) British Columbia. We were talking about how to invest my retirement money. (((REDACTED))) immediately told me of his company, (((REDACTED))) in (((REDACTED))), that would give me an annual return of 30%. I trusted him as I knew his family.

I went to his office in (((REDACTED))) where his partners (((REDACTED))) and (((REDACTED))), showed me different investment options. I chose (((REDACTED))), a Nevada Corporation that was going to merge with (((REDACTED))). I wrote a check for $125,000.00 USD; all my retirement money. About a year later, as I needed the money for an operation for my husband, I asked (((REDACTED))) to sell my stocks.

After several unanswered calls and e-mails I decided to fly to (((REDACTED))), where I had the surprise of my life. The office was just one of those places where people open phony offices, and no one was able to give me any answers. I tried several times to call the number (((REDACTED))) but got no answer. When I returned to (((REDACTED))) I asked his wife about it and she told me that (((REDACTED))) had divorced her and didn't even pay the alimony.

Then I started to investigate him and I found that (((REDACTED))) was a crook and (((REDACTED))) was in New York with an ongoing lawsuit with the Security Exchange Commission. Stay away from (((REDACTED))) and (((REDACTED)))!!
