I can't believe I paid for DEAD flowers!

I am beyond disappointed in 1-800-flowers.com. On Thursday, February 9, 2006, I ordered a 15 Stem Gerbera Daisy Bouquet (#1486) for my sister to be delivered to her at work. In all, I forked out $50.98-a tad much in my book for some daisies, but it was for my sister so I didn't mind. The bouquet arrived-12 Gerbera Daisies. Upon opening the arrangment, one of the Gerbera Daisies bloom's fell off. On top of that, not 24 hours later, all of the blooms are DYING! I did not pay $50.98 for 11 dying Gerbera Daisies. For $50.98 I expect ALL of the daisies to be ther and for the bouquet to last more than 24 hours.

Usually I am patient with a matter like this. I simply call customer service and find a way to fix the problem. On February 15, 2006 I called 1-800-FLOWERS (1-800-356-9377) three times. The automated system hangs up on me because all customer service reps are busy. I called 800-468-1141, their designated customer service line twice, same thing. I even attempted to call the corporate number 516-237-6000 and there is no answer! This is ridiculous!

Today, February 16, 2006, I have attempted to call those three customer service/corporate numbers again with the results.

I want $50.98 refunded to my credit card and a replacement bouquet of HEALTHY flowers sent to my sister. I paid for a 15 Stem Gerbera Daisy Bouquet, not an 11 stem DYING Gerbera Daisy Bouquet. Usually in this situation I would simply ask for a replacement bouquet to be sent out, but since getting through to your "customer service" department for some customer service is impossible, I want both a refund and a replacement bouquet. I refuse to waste my time calling and calling and calling in attempt to resolve your disappointing product and disappointing service.
