Linen Source and Shopping Essentials are routinely engaging in credit card fraud! When I placed a telephone order with Linen Source in Sept. 2008 the high-pressure phone rep enrolled me in Shopping Essentials at $14.95/mo though I repeatedly declined the offer he pushed. I've recently discovered that my credit card has been debited by Shopping Essentials for the past 3 months, and phoned them to cancel the unwanted "membership." They did so but refused to refund any but the most recent month's charge.

Furthermore, Linen Source dragged its feet in sending the authorized return label that was supposed to have been included in my order (in accordance with its "Easy Return Policy") and that was required in order to return any of the items in the shipment. It took nearly two months and numerous phone calls and, in the end, threats of legal action before Linen Source finally sent the label (which they'd repeatedly told me was "in the mail") so I could return and receive credit for over $150 of rejected merchandise. Prolonged delaying of refunds is an obvious scheme Linen Source employs in order to hang on to their customers' money as long as it can, to its own benefit.

Consumers, beware of Linen Source and Shopping Essentials! These are two sleazy partners in crime that cry out for investigation by their respective states' Attorney Generals.
