I sent $525 worth of nordstrom gift cards for payment, put a hold on one card of $100 because i sort of felt they may be scammers. they text you by whatsapp and give burner phone number and fake physical address.

after i sent the gift cards they cashed and stopped all communication with me once they could not cash in on the final card they asked me to go activate it. i told them i will once they finish with my file since then no more contact. They still have there fake websit up at www.101expunge.com

Your intention was to send off money to somebody who claimed to remove bad things from your credit report so that YOU could DEFRAUD future creditors into lending you money when YOUR CREDIT HISTORY shows you are a deadbeat. They scammed you! Isn't that such a shame! Ha, ha, ha, ha!

There is no doubt that they are a scam. But you knew this going in. After all how many legitimate  companies do you know that ask for Nordstrom Gift Cards for payment? Except for Nordstrom, I can't think of one.

i sort of felt they may be scammers. they text you by whatsapp and give burner phone number and fake physical address.
- Yet you still sent them money.  It doesn't matter if it was $525, $5250, or $5.25.  Sending them even a single dime is pure stupidity on your part.  Since you know everything was fake, you know that you will never find them or get your money back.

Your loss of the $425 is 100% YOUR FAULT.  Again the fact is that you were attempting to commit fraud.  Yes fraud, because no one can legally remove items on your credit report that you can't do for free. There is no need to "hack" your credit report.  By trying to have valid items removed if you obtained credit it would be under false pretenses.

Oh if you are sensing there is no sympathy you are correct. There are people that get caught by this that are
totally clueless, you went into this knowing it was a scam.
