I received an email about a new site where you could invest small amounts of money and you earned money fast on your investment and could take your money out at any time. I checked it out and it seemed legit so I put in $50. which was the minimum. You can only do increments of $50.00

Ten minutes later I had gained $3.00 and 10 minutes after that $3.00 more. Everytime someone joined everyone got $3.00. Everyone was equal. When I reached $50.00 I re-invested it so I had $100.00 in there and my money continues to grow. I got 3 referrels and I get $5.00 referrel bonuses on their $50.00 investment and re-investment.

This morning I have $160.00 in my account counting my original $50 plus my re-invested $50 plus I gained $60. I will not re-invest another $50 because they will not answer my emails and they will not allow me to withdraw any money but the amount not invested or the $60.00. All of it is mine and I told them I want to close my account. I don't understand why they won't answermy email request. I have emailed 3times. It is all my money. And now I realize they don't have any way to be contacted except through theirsupport section. I now think they are a ripoff!

It's a pyramid. Get what you can now.

#4Consumer Suggestion

You have entered a pyramid scheme, fortunately near the top which means that you have a chance of winning. Pyramids always collapse because they require a constant supply of exponentially more and more new "investors" to keep going. Those newer members will invariably lose all their money. That's why it is called the "pyramid scam" and is illegal. It is fraudulent and deceptive for the organizers to suggest that it can keep going indefinitely.

So if you actually get more money out than you've put in, you've won. Walk away.

Clarifying 10xpay program

#4Author of original report

Thu, September 28, 2006

I really appreciate the comments from Marvin from Texas even though his description of 10xpay was way off, according to what they promote on their site. They say, "Why wait 180days to get paid when you can withdraw today". Also they say,"Pull out the Bux or reinvest It's Up To You"! Now, I don't know how others read these statements but I take them to mean I can withdraw my earnings at any time without penalty.

They have given me a payout twice now. The first time I withdrew $63.00 because I realized I should not re-invest anymore because I am not going to get back my original investment and $50 re-investment. The second time I withdrew $34.00 for the same reason. The second withdrawal was supposed to be the same as the first and go to my Alertpay account. According to their records that is where they sent the money.

Somehow, though, the money ended up in my Safepay account. I haven't even notified them of their mistake because it is senseless to argue with them.

I now am receiving an average of $3.00 every 2 days because I complained. The only one's I could complain to are Alertpay (hence the screw-up I believe), beenfunkd.com, and of course the Rip-Off Report. The only reason I haven't gone to the Online BBB is because these people do not provide an address or phone number where they can be reached and the BBB requires that when one files a complaint.

All I want is my original $50.00 and the $50 that I earned back. Until they allow me to close my account and take all of my investment out as they claim they do, I will complain to anyone who will listen. And, no, I do not get smart mouthed, only truthful. Until 10xpay responds I am going to assume the truth hurts!

Follow-up Request Charlotte's Complaint 10XPay

#4Consumer Comment

Thu, September 28, 2006

Hi, Charlotte,

It strikes me as highly unusual that you are the only one who is not satisfied with this program, considering the vast number of people who seem to be delighted with their 10XPay investment results
and pay-outs--to date.

Understandably, I have been ripped by
unscrulpulos internet scam artists. However,
just because the program operators "refuse" to
refund your money on your terms does not automatically qualify the company in question
as a rip-off

Have you read the program's FAQ in reference to
their refund policy? It states "Refund policy:
100% Refund after 90 days minus any admin fees / Sponsor fees / commission fees paid to you.."

If the company refuses to honor your refund
request after 90 days--according to the terms
stated on their website--then you can legitimately
claim 10XPay ripped you off.

I am sure you realize that once you request
a refund of your investment--your account then
becomes inactive and not eligible for member's
benefits--in most cases?

Has the company answered your emails? Don't expect an answer if your email was nasty, demanding, unreasonable and/or vulgar in any way. (I am not saying that is the case--just making a point).

In most cases, it may take 2 to 3 days to receive
a reply from any website support department, and
even longer if the support department is understaffed and there is a backlog of unanswered
emails.

I am not a member of 10XPay.

Before I join a company, I want to know whether it is going to live up to its promises. I am sure everyone on the internet who is considering investing in this program would appreciate an update from you once you see how the situation develops, whether good or bad.

If you haven't played by the rules, then you
don't have the right to complain, as long as
the company's rules are fair and reasonable.

It's your call. Good Luck!
