1800-PetMeds Sucks : Their Medication Nearly Killed My Pet 1800 PetMeds Sold Me Counterfiet Ripoff Florida

I can not believe that millions of American are buying from a Fraud of a Company like 1800 Pet Meds. The Company sold me Pet Meds that I have been using from my vet for over 2 years on my pet. Recently I decided to switch to Petmeds to see if I would receive a savings, it turn out to be a mistake. Upon taking the medication my dog started shaking and vomitting. I had to rush my pet to the Vet and I was told that the package that was sold to me look very suspicious. The chemical on the box was missing ingredients and was not package properly. I was told by my Vet to throw the Medication away cause it was probably CounterFeit.


From My Experience NEVER, NEVER EVER buy from this company again, I save less than $3 from a $100 purchase and I nearly killed my pet.

I am General Counsel for 1-800-PetMeds. Our Company does not sell counterfeit products. We are a licensed pharmacy that only dispenses U.S. FDA/ EPA approved medications, the same exact medications sold by veterinarians. If Tammy experienced product failure, we're sorry, but it was not because, as Tammy was informed by her veterinarian, the product was counterfeit.

Veterinarians are in competition with our Company for the sale of pet medications and unfortunately, we find that a number of veterinarians make comments about us and/or our products, in an attempt to persuade their clients to buy their pet medications only from them

I would be more than happy to discuss this matter further with Tammy, should she choose to contact me directly.

I'm not sure who you delt with at 1800 petmeds. If you where in fact treated in such a way you need to speak to a manager. Our goal at 1800 pet meds is to provide great customer service. If you feel you where treated rude or that you weren't given what you wanted you need to speak up. I am proud to work for this company and I can tell you that everyone gets a refund, its written on the website 100% satisfaction. And god forbid anything really did happen to your animal all 1800petmeds asks you to do is provide proof in the form of your vet bill, faxed to them and they pay you for everything you had to encure. Im sorry but its very common for vets to place fear in another company... they loose allot of money when you take your medication needs else where.

And yes the general idea is too offer you something else to try if a medication failed you.. Not every medication works for everyone thats why they make so many different kinds. But no one is saying you NEED to its just the way of offering you another option if thats not to your liking polietly ask for a refund and explain your un happy. I know for a fact that if you ask for a refund and the rep does not give you one that rep runs the risk of getting canned, the only exception is rx medication "for example heartguard" You can't return these products because it is a pharmacy regulation but you can get a refund. Also if we sold counterfit meds as you suggest then we would not need an rx authorization from you vet to dispence medication to you, unfortunatlly vets use this as a tactic to scare you.

I sit here at home on my own computer just relaxing... I don't have to be involving myself at all but i love the company i work for and I would strongly advise you to ask to speak with a manager if all else fails, all the phone calls are recorded so theres no way around it okay...Also as for the savings, that is why we offer a price match meat or beat as it is sated in the website, if your not happy with it tell them what will make you happy... Anyway if you still have an issue I would suggest emailing customer service and asking them to call you perhaps. Dunno just an idea..Have a nice day
