On Monday, October 31, 2005, I ordered 2 shirts from this company. On November 1, I received an email that I failed to enter the cvv code from the back of my card when I placed my order, therefore, my order had been deleted and I needed to re-order entering the proper code. When I logged on to my companies credit card site, and reviewed my account, it showed the company had charged my card $58.85. So I responded to the email by saying: "my credit card has been charged, please advise what this means."

I received a response that read: "Not correct the card was never charged by us."

Upon contacting my credit card company, I realized that I misunderstood, the card had in fact not been charged, however, 1lap2go had a pre-authorization on my account in the amount of $58.85, that they had not yet released. So I sent an email back that said: "I don't mean to be rude, but according to my credit card company you put a pre authorization transaction on the card in the amount of $58.85 on Monday October 31st, 2005 and HAVE NOT released it, my card may not be charged, but you are in fact holding a pre-authorization on the account, either release it or send my merchandise. I would be happy to fax you a copy of anything you need."

to which I received the response: "Be NICE! You do not get what you want if you are rude!

NICE, not rude! Why should we help you if you are
rude?"

So I phoned the company. The guy who answered the phone was nice and did explain that it is my company who has to release the pre-authorization, not 1lap2go. Upon contacting my company, they informed me that 1lap2go, could cancel the pre-authorization. The guy who answered also did tell me that he would let an email supervisor know about the email I received. On the website, I found another email address and emailed it inquiring how to report an email I received from their company. I received the EXACT same response that I posted above that started with the "Be NICE!....." so I called the company again and the same guy answered. I asked to speak to a supervisor, he asked what it was in regards to. I explained, he then told me that email was an auto email being sent out and there was a glitch in their system they were trying to fix and apologized explaining there was no malicious intent. I accepted this until I received the following email after telling them I intended to report this immature and unproffessional behavior: "Be NICE! You do not get what you want if you are rude!

Customer Service put this RUDE PERSON ON AUTO DELETE! SHE IS A FRAUD THAT REFUSED TO PUT THE CVV CODE YAHOO REJECTED THE ORDER!

I can accept that I failed to put the correct cvv code and the order not being processed was my fault, however, I think calling me a "fraud" and responding to my emails this way was uncalled for. I seen several items on this website I had intended to order over the next few weeks as xmas gifts, but it appears as though customer service is not of importance to this company.

The empty threats do not scare me. Once again, threats and spam were NEVER sent by me. All correspondences between myself and this company have been saved. It's sad that this guy is actually behaving in this manner.

Perhaps I should mention that the emails from this company became so bad that a week after filing this original report, I had to contact my local police department and ask them to help me settle this issue.

After receiving a phone call from Officer Nicol...all emails to me from this company ceased....imagine that. If this guy really is legit and everything has been "saved" perhaps he could tell us exactly what I attempted to order and prove he actually remembers the transaction and isn't just carrying on like a babbling idiot.

No legal action will result on his behalf because he knows full well there is no ground to stand on. However, I do appreciate his attempts to defend his rude and obnoxious employees behavior, and find it humorous. Once again, I am glad I did not do business with a company like this....keep reaching, sir.

There is nothing FUNNY about threats and spam e-mails

SPAM
To indiscriminately send unsolicited, unwanted, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages, especially commercial advertising in mass quantities. Noun: electronic "junk mail".
When sending 20 plus e-mail with 1 hour this is condidered spam.

THREAT
A threat is an unwanted (deliberate or accidental) event that may result in harm to an asset. Often, a threat is exploiting a known vulnerability(ies). A threat could be the perception of insecurity; see also risk. A threat is also an explicit or implicit message from a person to another that the first will cause something bad to happen to the other, often except when certain demands are met. Often a weapon is used. Examples are a robbery, kidnapping, hijacking, extortion, blackmail.

We take spam and threats very serious. all e-mails have been saved and further threats by this person with result in legal action.

Customers order was reject by the Yahoo AVS system. We explained this to the customer and customer became angry and started to swear and make threats. Her bank put a temp charge on her credit card and this was to be removed by them not us. Yahoo AVS rejected the order so we could not of ev3n charged the customer if we wanted to. Customer was explained 5 times on this. Then she became more angry and started to spam our e-mails and we have no choice to put her on auto delete.
