Complaint Review: 1NW CONTACT LLC

A warning to all that apply at this company!!!!I started working at this company in January of 2013. I have never had such a problem with a compnay in my life. They claim that you are a independant contractor but they treat you like a employee. They change your hours all the tme. This company will rip you off from the start. You don't get paid for any traing what so ever. It takes a total of 4 weeks before you get your paycheck and it won't be right. In their add they tell you that the hours are flexible which they are not. if you want the job you work the hours that they tell you. They don't pay you the hours that you work. Now I kept very detailed records of my hours and every week I was short. Now they say you can dispute the hours but there is a catch, when you dispute the hours they come back  and say nope it's correct and that is your dispute.

Now here is the worst part. THEY WRITE CHECKS THAT BOUNCE!!!!!then give you a hard time about any NSF FEE'S that you get. They treat you like s*** and talk to you like s**t as well, Georgiasnn Morgan is the worst of them all. This woman actually called me a CRAZY B****!!!because I am mad because the check that they wrote me bounced. I also kmow of 2 other people that have received bad checks a total of 7 bounced checks with in the last 2 months that I know of!!!!!I even got the police involved in one situation where my ex-rooommate stole my check after I did a deposit by phone. They wouldn't even report it to their bank that the check was stolen and forged so I had to eat now I am in dept to Wells Faro for over 500.00.She accused me of lying and trying to rip them off. REALLY???? I am going to try something like that and get the cops involved???? WOW she is a special kind of something I would say...

But if you currently are working at this cmpany or not but have recieved a bounced check from them. Here is some hope for you... you can go to this website and file a complaint at the Ca Department of industrial Relations. It is FREE To File a Claim and you don't have to live in CA to file one. They are responsible for penalties as well as paying you fopr the days that you had to wait for your check to be replaced http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/HowToFileWageClaim.htm. You can call them and they will answer any questions you have and tell you what you need to do. You can also file a police report because it is against the law for anyone to write bad checks and you can do a civil claim as well and take them to small claims court too. Just because you were a contractor doesn't mean that you don't have rights because you do... Let let them do to you what they did to me and others that I know.
