Complaint Review: 1NW Contact

1NW Contact Nationwide deceptive recruiting and compensation Thousand Oaks, California

These people recruit with a promise of $10 + commission and expectations of a service that will make legal clients so much of a return that a salesperson should easily make 70-100K + a year.  Well, the real deal is there is no hourly. They believe it is quite possible to sell 5 contracts a day for a chat service which intergrates to the clients' website.  Each sale pays $200 and with that kind of a payout...no base is paid.

This company wants you to make 100+ calls a day.  The CRM for tracking notes, sales, call-backs, etc was not compatible with the auto dialer so it was impossible to make the numbers because the process to complete the call, the fill in the the CRM fields was so time consuming.

The interest from from legal teams was quite slim to non.  If a sale was actually made...it would take about 6 weeks before the service was set up on their website and the salesperson would not be paid until the customer paid in full.   When approached to have a small base draw against commissions since it would take so long to get things off the ground and receive an income - the answer went on deaf ears.

The group of salespeople in training went from 6 to 0.   The first one left after hearing about the compensation change and software used and decided not to even attend the training.  The second read all the Rip Off reports and tried to call the company on their actions but got shut down so he quit.  Then the other 4 of us gave it the ole' college try but finally came to our senses.

Strange, greedy company.  They were suppose to pick up an additional tech service to sell in addition to their on line chat option to reel in prospects.  I'm sure the client offering to give 1NW contact a shot at representing them will die after they get wind of how lousy their track record is with selling law offices for the chat service.

Shady company ....don't waste your time.

I was told personally there would be a base until training started.  It took forever to get this project off the ground.  I spoke with other participating reps and we all agreed we should have looked for a real, stable company elsewhere sooner instead of hanging on wasting our time.  Give it a break, 4 of us all on the same page with our thoughts of this company ?  Looks like somebody is just trying to lick their wounds and save a sinkng ship.  This is fine for a junior telemarketers but professional telesales people - don't waste your talent.

The position is and always has been a commission only sales position. That is how it is advertised and how the Independent Contractor Agreement that each prospect receives and signs BEFORE training. The expectation was ONE sale a day and at that rate the income potential is quite good--in excess of $60,000 per year--not 6 sales a day. Everyone in the project received an income calculation example with the expectation and calculations of commission and residual income (and assumptions) BEFORE starting work.

Yes, one has to make alot of calls to be successful as a sales person. We quote 50-75 calls per day to get a pipleine going. An industry standard! At 100 calls per day a person, who is a sales person, would be very successful.

Rich never completed a sale so his statistics on installation and customer service are pure fanatasy!

In reality, the install takes a couple of hours, so we quoted 7-10 days to allow the client webmaster to be contacted and scheduled.

Was the first class successful.....NO!.....were others? YES. The people from the first class made a total of 150 calls COMBINED (that is an average of 30 calls each!) before they started to disappear. Cant be successful with no work! Would you give a draw to someone who demonstrated such a lack of work ethic? They spent more time in training than they did after training!

1NW Contact has an open line/open door policy and any of our managers are available to speak with agents, prospects or former agents.

If you have any questions or issues call me....same number that is on the website: 877/404-5639!
