1st American Mitigators, Myrna, swore after looking at our finances that she/they could get my mortgage down from $881.00/mo to $547.00/mo and my split mortgage to settle for $2000.00. Well, I paid them their $4800.00 (two separate mortgages, two separate fees...I should have known then), they were unsuccessful in lowering my mortgage AT ALL. And I am still negotiating with the other mortgage company which they assured me would settle for $2000.00. Currently the offer is up to $8500.00 and they still haven't settled the debt. DO NOT trust these scam artists. If it's not your mortgage lender approaching you, it's too good to be true.
