1st American Travel - 1st American Research Ripoff, Promised trip to Las Vegas and would not refund money when i was unable to attend Las Vegas Nevada
I heard an advertisment on the radio for a three days/two nights free stay in Las Vegas in exchange for viewing one of its properties. I called and paid $95 deposit.
However about two months after signing up, I was no longer living with the person who I wanted to take the trip with. (Required to live with significant other.)
So I called and the company said that was no problem and it would promptly refund my money. IT has been three months and nothing.
I have left numerous messages and told to speak with an "accounting" department which I'm convinced doesn't exist. I have been told that a check will be mailed or the money will be credited to my account. Nothing.
Now when you call, you just get the answering machine which is now full.
After reading the other post, I'm glad I did not take the trip with this company because it seems it could have turned out far worse.
