1st American Vacations - Feel Perfect Intl ripoff $95 VEGAS VACATION SCAM Las Vegas Nevada
I also heard an advertisement on a local radio station about a 3-day 2 night stay in vegas at a popular resort/hotel all for 95.00 which is fully refundable.
I bought the vacation package for $95.00. Then about 3 weeks later after calling the phone# I originally asked for at least 15 times, (also only an answer machine and at times it would not allow any messages to be recorded). I did receive a ridiculous looking photo copy of a confirmation letter, and no receipt of the money I had paid.
A couple weeks passed and I had been calling to schedule a vacation date. Again at least a dozen calls before the machine would allow a recording, after this MAJOR communication problem, and the fact that my plans for the vegas trip had been cancelled. I decided that I would like to get a refund.
So someone did return my calls and once I told them I could not go on the vegas trip and I would like a refund, the lady on the phone said that a refund would be no problem. All I needed to do was provide her with a number that she could give to the accounting dept. so they could call me to inform me of how my refund would be taken care of. (check/ credit back to my card?)
That was over 3 weeks ago and another phone call to talk to the accounting dept. and find out when I could expect the refund. But the accounting dept. was not in, again.
I guess $95 is a fairly inexpensive lesson.
