I am having trouble with the memory that I purchased. This is about all three sticks of memory I purchased. I can put one stick (any one and into any slot) in my computer and it will work just fine. It does not make a difference which slot or which stick, I have tried all. But as soon as I put another stick in, it will boot fine but about 5 minuites after, it freezes up. I have tried all three slots and all three sticks including my original stick of 512. The idea behind buying three gig was to treat myself to see what three gig would do for me. I looked up the motherboard to check the max that would work. and three gig is the max. I am very upset I just want it to work.
I have been repairing computers for about 27 years and I am stumped.
