i purchased a home and as part of the agreement the sellers provided a 2-10 home buyers warranty for the home. I noticed a few weeks after we closed the home loan that the water heater was leaking so I called the 2-10 company to file a claim and they scheduled a plummer to come check out the problem. The plummer agreed and water heater could not be repaired and needed to be replaced so he called the 2-10 agent and they denied the claim because they said it was a "pre-existing" problem... I have read hundreds of complaints about this company so I was not surprised.. So I am now trying to cancel this policy and trying to inform anyone who is considering purchasing a 2-10 warranty to save your money and DO NOT BUY... I assume realtors get a commision for helping to sell this bad product..
