2 10 Home Buyers Warranty Refers homeowners to specific companies and then refuses to pay the bill stating that the hired company didn't follow protocol. Aurora Colorado
Being a first time homeowner, I thought that a home warranty would be a valuable asset to my first home. I purchased my home in November of 2002 and in February 2003 my heat pump stopped working. I called 2 10 Warranty Company and they gave me a number to a specific local heating and cooling company to come and fix my heat pump. I followed through and the next day a service person was there to fix my heat pump. I paid the 75.00 dollar deductable and thought that I was finished with my end of the deal. I then started to recieve bills from the heating and cooling company. I called 2 10 and they said that they would take care of the problem. I continued to recieve bills and yet again call 2 10. This time I got a different story. Now they are saying that the local heating and cooling company did not follow proper procedures and they are refusing to pay the bill. It has now been a year and a half, each time I call 2 10 I get traided off to different people. They say that they will not pay the bill because the local company did not follow proper procedure. I just want to know how this is my fault. Now, local heating and cooling company has reported me to a credit agency. I refuse to pay the bill when 2 10 told me to call this local company.
