In May 2016,  2-10 approved our Apollo water heater to be replaced. We were not getting any hot water and the new AO Smith Unit resolved this issue.  FLash forward to Dec. 2017, when we began to experience the coldest winter in a long time and were forced to use the heat.  Or so we planned to.

The heat would not warm the house above 62 and droped into the 50's at night. We replaced the thermostat but this did not work either. On Dec. 11, 2017 I made a rerquest to have the heat looked at and repaired. It is now Jan. 8th, 4 weeks later, and still no heat and my family is freezing in thier own home with a warranty that I pay over $700/year for to avoid this type of issue.

The first company came out and said it was the water pump and replaced it within a week.  This did not fix a single issue with our heat. The second company came out and said it is the completely wrong system that 2-10 approved to be replaced in May 2016!  For over a year, we have had the wrong system!  Now today I am being told they need 3-5 business days to place the order for the correct unit, and then I have to wait until the repair company gets the unit and can come back out. 

This could be abother 2 weeks at this rate.  2-10 did not try to offer any solution or care that for over a month we are without basic heat and are using space heaters to survive the temps. They made a big mistake in 2016 which has caused the need for another whole new unit and don't care to fix it at a fast rate.   This is 2-10's fault 100% and they are doing nothing to help the problem.  I am being tossed from agent to agent and being told a differnt story each time. I am looking into a lawyer at this time.
