I was in the Nordstrom Rack parking lot on Blackstone and Nees when a white Chevy SIlverado with two large men parked next to my car and said that they were a detailing service and could help me smooth out some rusty spots on my car. I said no and asked for a card. They claimed they were in town from Sacramento and this was what they did for a living, drive to surrounding cities so they didn't have a card. They were pretty aggressive and before I could say no he was sanding away at my car. During the sanding process he spoke an odd language, specifically the word "Chekere" which I googled and it turned out to be a "Romani" word the gypsy language. After sanding, he sprayed what he called a primer, then added a wax that he claimed needed to be removed after 2 days.

Long story short, the wax was just a cover up. The buffing people said that the "primer" actually burned part of the paint off. Needless to say, I paid these guys $160 for this mobile work and it was a fraud. Maybe I shouldn't have been so gullible, but what do you do when 2 large men approach your car?? My car now has over $1,200 worth of damage. I was smart enough to take a picture of their license plates. When I called the non emergency police and spoke with an officer, she ran the plates and told me that those people's license plate checks out as an address in Fresno.

These fraudulent folks feed off of scamming unsuspecting people like me.

They are running business illegally and ruining other people property. BEWARE!!
