Complaint Review: 2020 Eyecare

2020 Eyecare Failed to deliver on eyeglass lenses I payed for and they said woulld be mailed to me. Nacogdoches Texas

Payed a total of $500.00 of a $614.83 on 5/22/2018 for eye exam and glasses.  When fitted with glasses I stressedd that the were neede within two and a half weeks and was told it would take about a week and a half.

I called to check the status on 6/5/2018 and Regina had to call and check on them. Found out they were backordered but was promised that they would be there on 6/7/2018.

Received a call from Regina on 6/7/2018 stating they would be shipped out on 5/8/2018 meaning I was unable to drive and missed a $560.00 nonrefundable flight.

I asked why 2020 Eyecare was not notified of the backorder, why I was not notified that they were backordered, and if the only used one supplier for lenses? Nobody could or would what I thought were simple and easy question.

I was told that my lenses would be mailed to me and they have not yet arrived 6/21/2018. THERE SHOULD BE A REFUND of between $80.00 and a $100.00 for my partial payment on my frames and taxes.
