a 21 century rep named Booker called me to infrom me that thier legal department got our phone nujmber from our current mortgage lender since we were applying for a loan modification. I explained that our mortgage payments were more than 1400 a month and my husband was recently laid off. Booker said he would send a rep to our home to discuss obama;s loan modification program for new houseowners in our situation where our current lenders will not help us with a loan mod. THe rep came she brought a contract that stated we would have 21 century be our legal reps and that they would be authorized to be our 3rd party and that we would pay 624.00 to them unitl september when we would begin re payments with our current lender. If we paid 21 century the 624 then legall "they stated" we could not go into foreclosure since they were a obama program, and that if we made the payments to them on time that our mortgage would go from the 1400's to only 650 a month. Since there we contracts and everything seemed lagit my husband and I were so happy our prayers were answered. Unfortunaltely we went into foreclosure and we contacted our agent from 21 century assgined to us ANGEL RODRIGUEZ and he said our current lender is lying and that legally we were protected as long as we kept paying them. I have saved contracts, voice messages, documents, and bank statements validating everything. In septmember when i contacted our lender to arrange our new mortgage payment as 21 century stated we must do in sep that is when our lender told us they never recieved our payments from 21 century and they never heard of 21 legal services. Our house went into foreclosure, our credit was destroyed and my husband and I have a newborn and are finiacially struggling. We called Angel ROERIGUEZ, all the reps from 21 century and their numbers were disconnected. Please someone help if you have any information for us.
