Complaint Review: 21st Century Centennial Insurance Co.

21st Century Centennial Insurance Co. I was referred to Centennial when I received my renewal from 21st Century Ins. Co. The renewal was e Lowballed, conned by what I believe to be an underwriting company for 21 Century Ins. Company. I was told by a rep of 21 Century that it was owned by GE and the company I was sent to by 21 Century was 21 Century CENTENNIAL ins. Co. I believe them to be underwriters and I was sold. Wilmington. Delaware

I was a customer of 21st Century Auto Ins. for a number of years. The first of 2013 when my YEARLY ins. was due the amount was exorbitant. A letter was in the packet saying we might be able to save money if we contacted 21st Century CENTENNIAL Ins. Co.   We called and Anthony quoted us a price of $819.94 for six months or $1639.88 yearly.  Seemed lowball (we're on speakerphone) I asked Anthony if he was lowballing us. He said No.  I asked if the coverage was the same.  Anthony said yes. We paid on criedit card.

THEN: I notice new policy was not stacked. That was an extra $144.00 every six months.  Now we're up to $963.94    I receive my next 6 month renewal and it was up to $1122.54.   Called rep. Lydia for address of company to complain on the con job and she said we had to drop uninsured motorist to $25,000 per person/$50.00 per accident.   CONCLUSION: Customer is low balled by not giving identical coverage initially, they bump you up if you want same coverage and then the finale is when they have you reducing the uninsured motorist coverage.

Hope you can help. I plan to send a complaint to Florida Insurance Commissioner. They'll do nothing as they work for the insurance companies.
