24-7 Building & Maintenance Pty. Ltd. (ACN: 603986563) (ABN: 24603986563) was registered in the state of Queensland, Australia on Feb. 2nd 2015 as a proprietary company with the director and secretary being Sasha Smith.

Ms. Smith is the director of the company because her husband (Daniel John Smith, who goes by the name of "Dan Smith") can no longer be a company director as he has bankrupted two previous companies (DJ. Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. and The RICC Group Pty. Ltd.) and has been wound up by ASIC and deregistered as a builder and company director by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).

Daniel John Smith owes the Australian Tax Office (ATO), material suppliers, former employees, contractors, sub-contractors and home owners millions of dollars in unpaid monies.

He has ruined lives throughout South East Queensland.

Further Daniel John Smith has been deregistered by the QBSA and the QBCC (twice) for a combination of defective building practices and financial non-compliance.

Dan Smith has set up 24-7 Building & Maintenance Pty. Ltd. and continues to work with his off-sider Rodney Thomas Nance in an attempt to continue ripping off unsuspecting clients, suppliers, employees, contractors, sub-contractors, etc. throughout the South East Queensland region.

The works these people do are always defective. Dan Smith is a fraud, please visit the QBCC website and search the company license records for DJ. Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. and The RICC Group Pty. Ltd. (links provided below) - you will quickly realize that Mr. Smith and Mr. Nance have deregistered and had their building licenses cancelled - twice.

When trading as DJ. Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. Mr. Smith attempted to build our property in Brisbane, the then QBSA (who oversaw building services in Queensland at that point) had to step in due to the defective works conducted by Mr. Smith and Mr. Nance, terminate our construction contract with this company, deregister Mr. Smith's company (for defective works and financial non-compliance) and it subsequently went into liquidation. The QBSA then appointed another builder to (a) rectify the multiple defects caused by Mr. Smith and Mr. Nance and (b) complete the construction of our property, claiming more than $250,000 against Dan Smith's building insurance.

Further investigations revealed numerous other similar instances of defective works, non-completion and non-payment of monies to suppliers, employees and sub-contractors which led to the deregistration of DJ. Smith Construction Pty. Ltd.

After six years Dan Smith relaunched his building career as the RICC Group Pty. Ltd. - with similar outcomes to his prior, failed company referenced above.

24-7 Building & Maintenance Pty. Ltd. is his third attempt (under the guise of his wife as the director) to continue working in the Queensland building industry. In fact, Mr. Smith and Mr. Nance continue to work (illegally) in the construction industry flouting the findings of the QBCC.

If you have the unfortunate experience of coming across Daniel John Smith or Rodney Thomas Nance - turn and run in the opposite direction.

Do not, under any circumstances retain or contract with 24-7 Building & Maintenance Pty. Ltd. you'll be ripped off and robbed by these frauds.

Failed builder Daniel J Smith of DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. (wound up), the RICC Group Pty. Ltd. (wound up), 24/7 Building and Maintenance (wound up) - are we seeing a trend here? And most lately of Build 4U Brisbane (under investigation), has really done a number on his wife Sasha "the Snake" Smith - formerly an employee of the National Australia Bank. With Sasha about to appear before the courts on charges of fraud and deceptive behaviour, the NAB got whiff of this after being contacted by John Smith (Dan's brother) and Paul Johnson who made them (the NAB) aware of Sasha's long history of financial fraud as a director/secretary of Dan's various failed building companies. Confronted with the fact that Smith and Johnson were about to go to the media indicating that the Snake was about to bring the bank's name into disrepute by being associated with an employee up on multiple fraud charges, the bank took the only action they could and terminated Sasha's employment. Unperturbed by this Dan Smith continues to prance around building sites claiming that Sasha has been given a redundancy pay-out by the bank, when those in the know know full well Sasha has been terminated. Have you been burned by this duo? If so contact the NAB direct on 1800 152 015 , press option three on your phone and then quote reference number: 460 474 574 71 and make the bank aware of your plight and loss at the hands of Mr and Mrs Dan Smith. Then keep your eye out and your ear to the ground because on July 12th 2018 karma is going to bite the Smiths big time as James Whitelaw (their former accountant) and the ATO and ASIC pursues former NAB employee Sasha for her criminal ways - stay tuned, you'll hear all about it soon enough right here!

It would appear that Mr. Smith doesn’t like his history coming back to haunt him.

All I’ve done is make a lot of his prior escapades easier for people – who may be thinking of engaging his “services” – easier to find.

Here is an incomplete list of information regarding Daniel John Smith and his prior companies – DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd. and the RICC Group – in the PUBLIC DOMAIN and freely available on the internet, you just have to know where to look but I’ve made it a little easier.

This is before we even start to talk to the extensive list of sub-contractors, suppliers and prior clients I have access to.

Before engaging 24-7 Building & Maintenance Pty. Ltd. I invite you to do your due diligence.

9. Please visit: http://www.qbcc.qld.gov.au/ - under "Licensee Search" type in "DJ Smith Construction Pty. Ltd." and then (in a second search) the "RICC Group Pty. Ltd." - then follow these links to the next page and click on "Search for a QBCC Licensee", then click on "Licensee's Full Licence" - one of the first things you'll see come up on both of the aforementioned companies is: "NOT CURRENTLY LICENSED". "DO NOT contract with this company, all classes are cancelled.
