Complaint Review: 24/7 Locksmith Service

 Called this company, and was told it would be a $19 service call, plus $90 for the key replacement I needed. Estimated time to get to us was 20 minutes. He got to my home after an hour. Told me that he needed to make the key and try to see if it would work. I okayed this and went inside. Much to my surprise, he ruined 3 keys apparently trying this, and didn't find out until the very end. He never told me he ruined the keys at first. He made it clear he didn't know what he was doing and that he needed to either get his boss to come help, or order the key plans to make the factory key. I told him alright, and waited for his boss to arrive. By this time, nearly 2 hours had passed. His boss arrived, and got angry that he ruined the keys. He told me I had to pay for the ruined keys, otherwise I wouldn't get my replacement. He then got a key, and perfectly made it in less than 20 seconds. Guy was a complete a*s about it the entire time. Threw me dirty looks and glared the entire time, as if it was some huge waste of his time. I ended up paying $180 for what should have been a $109 job. I recommend never using these people. It's a complete bait and switch scam.
