Complaint Review: 24 7 services

I was in a bind and it was getting late. I had been gone all day and my dogs needed to be let out. I realized I had locked myself out and it would be getting dark. 

I tried calling local services, but they could not come for one or two hours. If I did not have doge, I could have waited. 

I called Locksmith24-7, who said they would come in twenty minutes for the same price as the other emergency services. . They did. 

They sent 2 men. One of the men did nothing at all. They gave me such an uneasy feeling that I took a picture of their license plate on their vehicle and texted it to my sister. She called back to see what this was and I said I knew I would be getting screwed by this company. 

I knew from the momemt they arrived that they would screw me and they did. I only used them because I was desperate, a female alone, dogs desperate to relieve themselves and it was getting dark. 

They told me they would try to help me (yeah right) and that they would pick it first. I felt he was just picking at the lock for a length of time for show..Then he said he would bump it (again I knew this was a scam) and he bumped it for show and of course it did not work. 

So, of course I had to buy a new lock. Only the round lock, not a huge door handle, not inside anything..nothing...and of course I was waiting for the royal screw of the price....

Now when they got the door open, I said I had to run in and let the dogs out and for them to wait outside until I could get them in another room. They came and stood inside the entryway. I never like my dogs to bark, but was very happy when they went beserk, so I yelled at the two guys to get back outside...danger...danger...and all of that..

I immediately stood back outside with my cell phone (which gets poor service in my area) and another reason why I chose   this company as my battery was also dying. 

Did I mention, I was alone?  I tried to say I needed to save money, but we do live in a nice neighborhood...so I knew that also would not cut it with them. 

I was starting to get afraid when the guy who did nothing looked inside the glass doors and (thank you dogs) my dogs went crazy again. He also looked in my garage as I thought maybe they could get in that way. 

So, what is the horrible total? And I called a few reputable locksmiths, and they told me I was screwed...

$574.00!! They would not even charge half that for what happened to me!

They called the next day and I told them the price was too high. I said the guys were ok as I know they are locksmiths and did not want a visit from them.
