Complaint Review: 24 hour fitness midtown houston

I was or who knows what my membership status is now at 24 hour membership but i was on a plan with somebody else as an added member. Two months ago they changed their membership, which directly affected me, even though upon changing memberships (from a single to an added member two years ago to save money) we asked explicitly if she changed her membership in any way if it would affect me or the price. I was purposely lied to to my face in order to get the famous first and last months fee for the guy doing the sale. Well two months ago due to my the change It put my membership on hold and then i come to find out that my membership was suspended temporarily and then my rate which had previously been 34 went up to 65 and this was all done without my knowledge or approval.  Now upon talking to the manager i was told there was some kind of special only in the next two days. And told the usual pay first or last months fee and we will waive the charges (that i never approved of (125)) upon hearing this i asked when would i ever see the last months credit on my account as i have previously had two different memberships with 24 hour and when my membership is changed i never see any kind of credit.  I was then threatened with a higher rate (in a sneaky fashion/ hard sale tactic) if i did not take the "deal".

You can imagine my anger for someone who was just living their life and then was suddenly affected by somebody else's actions even though you had been told and sworn up and down upon changing the terms of the membership that nothing would change (in fact it was the only reason i agreed to change the terms as i was a single member on my own). Then told you have been charged twice my normal rate( 34 went to 65 ) without your authorization. I feel trapped deceived but most importantly stupid for having been aware of these hard sale tactics at clubs before an falling for it. My hope is for someone reasonable to hear my plight and remove these charges and reinstate my previous rate or to just cancel my membership outright because will not be made to pay a first and last months fee which i am starting to suspect is just a a fee that every individual along the way has pocketed to "re do" my membership and passing the buck to the next guy down the line. I hope to spread the new across all social networks as i am tired of these felonious tactics, no more!
