I recently lost my keys to my car and I was obligated to call a locksmith. I looked in the phonebook and I seen an ad by "24 Hour Locksmith". The ad said they do re-keys for cars... that mean any car right?? That's what I thought... the guy came and he unlocked the car. Then he started to try to get the cylinder of the lock to get the lock's code... he attempted to retrieve the passenger side door cylinder, but he couldn't. So he move to the back of the car and took the cylinder from the trunk door. An hour and a half later he told me he couldn't do it. So I said that it is fine... he then handed me the cylinder/ lock for the trunk and told me to give it to a locksmith... all the while, i am thinking in my head, " aren't you a professional locksmith??" i then paid his service fee of $40 for coming to my house and for unlocking my car. He then went off and in the morning I had to call another locksmith to fix my problem.

I gave him the cylinder/lock from the trunk and he made a key for my car and he found a problem. The trunk of my car wouldn't open for some reason so he couldn't put the lock back. Now I am left with, basically, a trunk less car. I contacted the locksmith who was working in the trunk and he said I have to pay him another fee for him to fix my trunk. Why should I pay another fee for him to fix something that he broke?
