I joined the 24 Hr Fitness when it was Family Fitness, on my contract there were 5 people (my wife, my self and 3 kids). I bought the next to the top membership it was called the silver membership. The contract says that I or the other members on the contract are welcome at all of their clubs the only exception was I would have to pay extra if I wanted to play racketball or babysitting otherwise it was all enclusive at all of their facilities. I payed a large sum of money up front and a yearly fee for life which I've done.

My kids have become adults and moved away. One of my sons moved to Lake Forest and started attended the 24 Hr Fittness sport (i think that's what it's called) for awhile untill one day they told him his membership didn't included the sport facilitys which that is the only 24 Hr Fitness in town. My other son lives in Santa Ana and he can't go that club for the same reason. My daughter doesn't use her member ship either.

I called 24 Hr Fitness corp. last April and was told someone would call back within 72 hr., no one called so 3 weeks later May 17, 2008 I sent a letter to corp. addressed to customer service, I've had no responce.

Now only my wife and I can go and we go to a sport club that was built here in Brea. Again my contract does not exclude any of their facilites nor was I ever notified of any changes to my contract at any time.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

So your original agreement with the gym that got acquired by 24 hour hour fitness included all of that gyms locations, I guess my question would be, can you still go to all of the original locations that you signed up with? If you can I don't see an issue as your agreement was for access to those clubs, not separate 24 hour fitness locations. What i would do to resolve the issue is go into one of the clubs your originally signed up at and speak with the manager (being that since it was one of the clubs its probably a known issue) and see what clubs you have access to and which you don't.
