Complaint Review: 24 Protect Plus

I was checking my online bank account and found a charge that I did not authorize. I called the number attached to the description which was 800-211-9749 and I talked to an employee. They said that when using peoplefinder.com I had clicked on a link that authorized them to take money out of my account it was either monthly or yearly. She had a very thick accent and was hard to understand. Either way 19.95 was my money not theirs. My guess is this happens a lot.

I found 66 complaints against this company just on this website alone. She didn't need to transfer or even talk to me a bunch. She just told me what had happened and said that she would have the money back in my account within two business days. We will see. I would be really careful about what you click on. I didn't give my information out at all and somehow they charged my credit card.
