Domain names (such as aol.com, badbusinessbureau.com, etc) have addresses and phone numbers associated with them on a "whois" database.
Anyone can look up this information, just google on "whois" and find out.
The registrars who keep the whois databases mandate that this information MUST be correct or their domain names can be terminated.
