Complaint Review: 25Dates

 25Dates.com located in Toronto, Canada is a company that will take your money and lie to at the same time.  Avoid going to any of their speed dating events at all costs.  They advertise on groupon, and you can sign up for 3 events for half off the regular price.  The scam/rippoff they have going is that you will not get any matches any of your matches!  They will lie so that you keep going to their events.  A good friend who happens to be a very attractive single girl, and co-worker decided to try speed dating for the first time.   Unfortunately we went with the wrong company, because even though we checked off yes to each other, I was told that i did not get any matches.  Each event had the same host named Anna, but I don't think that's her real name.  I don't know why they do this, but they should not get away with ripping people off like this.  They will take your money and they will NOT GIVE YOU ANY OF YOUR MUTUAL MATCHES!!!  I was complettly frustrated!  I had tried calling them for weeks to get a refund, and they NEVER ANSWER their phone.  If your going to try speed dating, you should avoid this company like the plaque!  it is a complete RIPPOFF!!
