I entered the cash300.com website and STARTED to apply for a payday loan. However, when I got to the last page and saw how they charge $15 just to process the loan, not guaranteeing the loan, and how expensive their finance charge is, I decided NOT to finish the application and did not press "Submit Application". Come to find out, I received an e-mail from this company hours later, telling me that I DID apply for the paydayloan and they will be charging me $15 for the application fee. After various back-and-forth e-mails, the STUPID IGNORANT THIEVES STILL insist that I did submit my payday loan application when I CLEARLY DID NOT.

Now I have to go to my bank and process the necessary forms to get my money refunded and to prevent them from ever taking out more money.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They are cleary 100% THIEVES who do NOT KNOW HOW TO READ ENGLISH!!!

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

Some options for people

#5Consumer Comment

Sun, July 29, 2007

Lizzie,

I just wanted you and other people to know that there are other options for borrowing money instead of using these loan sharks.

A lot of people do not know it, but a lot of credit unions are now offering pay day loans at a lower interest rate and without the fee.

Also, if you have a vehicle that is free and clear and it falls within the credit unions lending guidelines, you could get a loan against it.

You can also apply for what is called a KWIK loan. The way this works is, you will have an available balance and if and when you need money, you would take an advance on the balance. You would then make montly payments (ususally $30 per thousand loaned) against the KWIK loan. The interest rate for this type of loan will be slightly higher than an auto loan because it is an unsecured loan, but I can gurantee it will be better than these loan sharks.

I do not know what you credit is like, and I am not going to say that you would get approved, but you may be suprised and what a credit union can do for you.

If you are not a member of one, I would suggest looking into credit unions in your area and see if you can join. If you have any community credit unions in your area, then you are eligable, if not then it would most likely be employer based.

For most credit unions you will need to have a savings account with a minimum amount in it. The 2 that I worked only required $5 in the account, but other credit unions have different guidelines.

The one good thing about credit unions is, they are member based and they do care about their members.

Good luck to you.

300cash.com ARE A RIPOFF PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY!!!

#5Author of original report

I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism this person from 300cash.com portrays. This company's owners obviously need to get a REAL job and find another way to STOP ripping the American public OFF!!! Payday loan companies are supposed to be a means of people with bad credit to be given a chance to obtain emergency funds, not a means to be ripped off and then publicly humiliated! Get some morals and business ethics 300cash.com, you'll be burning in HELL for all of your sins and for ripping off innocent people! Rember, God is watching and he doesn't like UGLY...

I think it is sad

#5Consumer Comment

I have worked in loans and I think that it is sad that the representative of this company decided to give us details on her loan. Who cares if her name is not what she stated it has nothing to do with what she was reporting. Also, telling everyone that she was denied has nothing to do with it. It just shows that your company has no descretion to your customers.

All you have done is shown that your company does not hold your customers personal information private, and by putting these details in your response, for the world to see, is a negative inpact on your company.

Didn't authorize it? We have Proof !!!

You submitted the application and agreed to the terms and conditions and authorization to pay the application fee; which your bank has confirmed and accepted your information. Your application has been documented and can be provided to anyone that requests it.

Some people have signed fraud statements with their banks. We have prosecuted them for fraud resulting in the collection of several thousand dollars. (Submitting their application then later they sign a document with their bank saying they didn't authorize the fee - when in fact they did and we have a record of it!!)

By the way,, your name is Martha.. not Lizzy,, and you live in Florida not Connecticut. These falsehoods could be some of the reasons your application was denied. We have also reported your false information to the credit bureau. Good luck in your search for financial assistance.
