A few days ago I received by mail a letter stating " We are pleased to inform you through this letter that our network shows you as the lucky winner of an unclaimed prize money in the amount of Fifty-seven Thousand Dollars", after reading that line I couldn't help but to laugh out loud. I continued to read the letter which was followed by " Enclosed is a check for ($3,990.00) which covers both the administrative taxes and Clearance fees of our winnings. For authorization and activation of this check, please contact our agent Angela Thomas immediately, no later than January 29,2009 ".

Well it's January 26, 2009 and guess what, I haven't called ;). Instead I did my own research on the company and checked the BBB website, of course I couldn't locate this company under 3D Financial Services &
Consultants, but you can find them through there division 3D Auto Transport Inc, located at the same identical city posted on the check enclosed, but in a different state as seen on the letterhead (13333 Fairview Road.Springfield, NE 68059), instead of 3D Auto P.O. Box 80054 Springfield, NC 68056).

The check they enclose with the letter looks legit and real, but the letter in itself reeks of FRAUD. Personally I find it repulsive to think that someone out there would rip-off innocent people, especially with the tough times in the economy. I checked Rip-Off report for the same company and found 2 complaints. This company needs to be shut down. You never know someone may be desperate for funds and fall for this scam, and be in a worse predicament then he/she was in initially.
