I signed up for a 3G telephone in Stockholm, Sweden in summer of 2003. Due to poor network coverage (making the phone useless half of the time), I prematurely cancelled my contract. It was bad service, but at least they were polite about letting me out of the 12-month contract.
I receive the bill for the second month (which was expected), and paid it. they then sent another bill.

I have since called the technical support several times to 're-cancel' the subscription, each time, with them refunding the money for the bill and promising an end to my billing. It stopped after december, 2003.
Last week, I receive a bill FROM THE COLLECTION AGENCY asking for money due for a december bill. I'm waiting on hold now (have been for 25 minutes) simply to tell them that they've inappropriately reported me to a collection agency.

In conclusion, even if you think you can defeat their billing department, the network coverage is crap anyway.
