My wife and I lost our house in Hurricane Sandy. Mr. Anthony Cozzolino and his associate, Karol Pogorzelski, of 4 Seasons Interiors Corp. came down to the Rockaways and looked for work. Mr. Cozzolino sold himself to me and stated he had been in the business for years, completeing many jobs around the city. We hired him, signed a contract for 155,000 dollars, and thats where the nightmare began. Their NYC DCA License was under 4 Seasons Interiors Corp-License #1458680-DCA.

They also picked up additional 9 jobs around the Rockaways. Every one got taken--they never ONCE completed a job. They wouldnt start our project on time, and demanded money around every corner. When I asked for receipts, they could never produce them. When they finally did start work, they had 2 or 3 workers there a day. None of them seemed to posses any skilled trades.

In June of 2013, my mother suddenly passed away. I was removed from the day to day dealings and the finances where run by my wife. This is where Karol and Anthony preyed upon my wife life a pack of hyenas. Large sums of cash went to them, with NO work done. A total of 171,000 dollars went to them, with around 40% of the job done. It is a nightmare that haunts me to this day. Pension loans, personal loans, all of my mothers estate money--GONE. These thugs had none of the money left, and as time went on and they wouldnt show for days, no material was at site---it was obvious.

Anthony was rude, threatening, and knew nothing about the work. Karol, his big Polish henchman, tried to strongarm payments at every corner. He used threatening language and Igor Oper, the village idiot who the license was under, was a degenerate gambler who seemed to be high everytime he came to the house. He frequently talked of the Atlantic City and Pennsylvania with Karol instead of talking about construction. I should have known then.

I had to retain an attorney to remove them from the site and try and recover anything I could, where is where I stand now. I caution anyone who has business dealings with Anthony Cozzolino, of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, and Karol Pogorelski, of Staten Island--to immediately turn and run. They will take your money. THey have NO CLUE how to do construction. And you will be left in a nightmare such as mine with financial hardships you couldnt fathom.
