411.CA 411.CA WON'T LET YOU CANCEL BEFORE SOAKING YOU WITH EXTRA PAYMENT FOR CANCELLATION WHICH WOULD BE FINE IF THIS WERE DISCLOSED AT OUTSET BRAMPTON Ontario

411.CA wont tell you up front that they have a cancellation policy which they will enforce when call to cancel and trust me you will. 411.CA found me by trolling (kijiji) and offering me everything and kitchen sink ( in my case 3 cities for the price of one) Initially reluctant, i made it clear that i was only interested month to effectively guage success. I paid with credit card for one month and was sent invoice for one month. Due to less than stellar results (no results really) i opted to call to ensure that there was no ambiguity re my intention. 411.CA was relentless in their attempt to keep me signed up, at one point offering the service for half price, which i declined. It was then that I was transferred to another department where the same song and dance occured. Finally I was informed that there would be a cancellation penalty because they required 30 days notice. this may be perfectly legal, but it is not right. I specifically signed up with the understanding that this was on a trial basis and for no more than one month, i beliive if 411.CA were above board, they would seize the opportunity to ensure i was clear on their policy. I am disappointed to say the least, out of pocket $160 plus taxes, and wasted my time trying to create a decent ad by uploading photo gallery etc. I caution any others whom are contacted by this company for use of their services. The service is lacking, not one lead to date. I would have been better off advertising in the local paper.
