411.ca Brandy Morris Chaudry Disgusting Customer Service Toronto, Ontario Canada
411.ca is definitely a scam! I have never been so dissatisfied with any of my advertising services. I don't know what kind of people are running this sort of business.
I wanted to cancel my ad, and was sent to the client relations dept. I was then assisted by a very passive individual. She stated that she would cancel out my services, and she even sent out an email, claiming that she had cancelled my listing. However I was billed again 3 months later. After many emails and voice messages left for this disgraceful company. I received a call from Brandy Morris Chaudry, the Customer service manager.
(I have dealt with many managers but this woman, by far had to be the most stupid and oblivious woman I have ever spoken to. I felt like I was speaking to a 5 year old child.) I don't even understand why she called me to "resolve the issue" when nothing was resolved. A total waste of my time!! If the company has hired incompetent employees then it is quite obvious what the status of validity of this company really is.
In conclusion, nothing was resolved!

This report was brought to my attention many years ago, and as per maryam;s request I have kept my mouth shut until now.
Oh Meryl, Meryl, meryl, where do I begin? you are an out right disgust to society. As Maryam's brother you not only insulteed me but my whole family and friends. thats quite a few enenmies on your back, now don't you think?you mentioned that maryam got fired? well, my dear fat obese friend, Maryam quit from that company because she was offered a position at a much reputable company. What really is it that you had so against her? her loving personality, or that she was gorgeous unlike you. I've seen your pictures and you look like a f* fat troll. whatever your reasons may be thats no excuse to spew lies of venom from your warted mouth. It must really suck that you and brandy are obese and ugly. But that's not an excuse to terrorize someone. Especailly my sister when our father passed away. So I am giving you now an opportunity you bitter piece of s**, I would like to personally get in contacty with you. you can reach me at (((redacted))). Maybe you should get some fact straight and be careful. This world is a very small world, and I would hate for you to have a rendezvous with someone that absolutely "adores" you. Also, you might want to invest in some liposuction and plastic surgery. you look like a fat ugly piece of s**. Take your friend Brandy with you. Im sure her husband can collect enough cash from his taxi business..... oh yea he left her a*s. oooops.

Similar Experience With 411.ca

411.ca is one of many companies that have contacted us for "advertising". Usually with these companies start their phone call off asking to confirm your information (ie, phone #, address, company name). From there they make it seem as though you already owe money, as a small business owner it's intimidating to have someone tell you or suggest that there is an outstanding invoice. Or in 411.ca's case, pretty much refusing cancellation. In the end, we ended up sending 411.ca two checks, and in return for nothing. Simply a database. One thing I will say, 411.ca is the only one of these companies that have never called me back after I have told them to stop calling. Many will call back within 6-12 months.
Funny thing, I just checked out 411.ca, and our ad is still there and we haven't paid anything in about 3 years. Their database already contains every business out of the phone book, only difference is when you pay them (I feel an outrageous amount), they then add a check mark saying "Owner Verified".
In the end we get about 10 to 15 calls a year from similar companies, forcing the same thing. Its a very real scam that effects small business. We lost quite a bit of money, before we learnt--An expensive education.
My advice, if you feel you have truly been scammed, contact Phone Busters. It's a government of canada site, there's a number you can call and they will direct you what to do. I was given a a website address where you can write reports. I was told to report every call I had ever gotten from any of these "said" companies. I was also told the only way the government will investigate is by how many reports they get about one individual company. So if you really feel you have been scammed, report it.
In all, good luck, and keep your eye out for similar companies.

I have to say this is getting to be very disgusting and inappropriate. I have contacted 411.ca and they have provided a full refund and provided services that Brandy Morris failed to comply on her end. With that said I am very much satisfied that my concerns have now been rectified.
I do not appreciate however the lack of professionalism on the previous message. It is quite obvious that Brandy Morris is the one that has written that statement. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. Although, I was very disgusted by your lack of customer service. Period.

Your experience is certainly unfortunate and unacceptable. I apologize for the issue. With 1000's upon 1000's of paying customers, your situation is not the norm at 411.ca. It sounds like there was a legitimate billing error made by the first rep you spoke with. Mistakes do happen in any business and 411.ca always pushed for a positive resolution. That involves calling customers to ascertain what the issue is, what went wrong, and what 411.ca can do to fix it. You say the issue was not resolved? Did you receive a refund? Were you under contract? If you are not satisfied, please contact 411.ca. They've never left a customer hanging and they are not going to start now.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'passive individual' in the client relations department. You wanted to cancel your service and the rep wanted to help you with your request. How is 'passive'a bad thing? Did you want them to make it more difficult for you to cancel?
I too am a former 411.ca employee and was part of the Customer Service department. They were very good to me. I've worked with Brandy and you must have caught her on a very bad day or perhaps very early in her brief 411.ca career. I always found her stellar in her role. She was not fired, by the way, her position was always intended to be temporary one - phased out with finalized restructuring.
However the person who left the previous comment, Maryam, was fired due to poor customer service as well as attendance issues. Her claims are false, disgruntled and quite frankly liable.
Again, I encourage you to give 411.ca a call or email them at help@411.ca.

I'm sorry to hear you got scammed by 411.ca. I hope you didn't lose too much money on useless service fees for an advertisement that didn't work. I wanted to let you know that they have FIRED Brandy Morris-Chaudry! As a former 411.ca employee I can definitely confirm that they are a scam, they charge everyone different prices for the same thing. I worked in their customer service dept and almost every single call or email I received was requesting cancellation. I was supposed to try to convince people to stay on at a reduced rate, or to enhance their ad to get them better results. I suffered a great moral dilemma working their as I needed a job but I hated feeling like I was scamming poeple out of their hard earned money.
411.ca is a total scam and I feel sorry for anyone who is wasting money advertising with them. You will get much better results from even a FREE ad on Kijiji. And as far as Brandy is concerned, she was a total moron and talked to everyone like they were 5 years old. She got what was coming to her.

Thank you for your concern "unknown author" however the damage is done, and my company and I would not like to pursue any more business dealings with your fraudulent "company".
As a business owner we pride ourselves on the reputation of our company. Unfortunately, like this "business" these people rather think about taking money and not providing effective services. That's what you call false advertising.

Thanks for writing Andrea. We're so sorry that you didn't have a great experience with 411.ca and we certainly value your feedback.
We want you to know that we take all cancellation requests very seriously. Since we relaunched the site last summer, a new process has been put in place whereby all cancellation requests are immediately assigned to a Customer First Department representative who acts on our standard 30-day cancellation policy. The new 411.ca has new functionality that allows you, as an advertiser, to easily post photos and logos, announce sales and promotions, and update your business pages. You can even track your stats, so you'll immediately know how many people are viewing your ad, and respond to reviews from your customers. We want to be fast and easy in every customer interaction, helping our advertisers reach more customers looking to buy. Period.
As for your comments regarding Brandy, I can only express my deepest surprise. She impresses us every single day as 411.ca's Client Services Manager and would do everything in her power to make you happy. Is the problem, in fact, still unresolved? Please send details to help@411.ca and we'll be sure to make this right!
