don barnes promised to reduce tax liabilty for fixed dollar amount instead they filed my taxes and the irs sent letters demanding more the savings just did not materialize dont bother calling they seem to call back at odd times. the amount they charged plus the amount owed just got higher and higher. the amount they charged could have paid off the liabilty.

We accomplished significant tax reductions for this client

This client hired us for a flat rate on April 14, 2008. The flat rate included IRS representation and preparation of his returns for 2004 and 2005. Later on, we added additional services for no extra fee; preparation of his 2003 return, and an amended 2004 return.

The 2003 filing we prepared knocked his tax down by $2,560.

The 2004 return, which he had not filed before, showed a tax liability of $4,063. After it was filed, we discovered a mistake, corrected this mistake at no cost to the client, and reduced his tax down to $420.

The original 2005 return showed an overpayment of $2,158 and went to reduce his overall liability.

After all missing returns were filed, we set this client up on a payment plan which he could afford, of only $140 per month.

The client seems to be complaining about our firm, when he is really complaining the IRS practice of charging penalties and interest for late filing and late payment. We did good work for this client, and got him the best possible result under the law. If he doesn't like the law, then he should exercise his right to petition Congress to change the law.

This client came to us for help, because he could not do this work himself, and we helped him as much as legally possible. Instead of complaining, this client should be writing us a thank you letter for pulling him out of tax trouble.

Any questions about our firm may be directed to Miki Hernandez at 310-401-6970.
