I purchased the 5 Star Shine Deluxe DIY product. They claim it is guaranteed for 5 yrs.

"From technology proven in the aerospace industry comes a paint protection system guaranteed to protect your car's finish for 5 years and keep it incredibly clean. the 5 Star Shine brand was created to provide the D.I.Y. (do it yourself) market the exact same 5 year paint protection system at a fraction of the cost. 5 Star Shine is the only product guaranteed to protect your car's paint for up to 5 years and keep it incredibly clean."

However, I put it on my 2014 ML350 and a month later, dirt DID NOT just wash off woth water as described. I had to use wash mitten as i would any other time. The shine is beautiful as long as you dont need to wash it. Which was the whole point of me buying the product....no need to wash, just rinse. NOT!!!

I emailed the company and this was their response:

What you are describing does not sound typical for our product.   It is obvious something has went wrong somewhere.   What year, make, model and color is your vehicle?   Who applied the Step #1 and Step #2?   Regards,   Customer Support   I responded: I agree the results were not what I was expecting based on the reviews, which is why I purchased it.   I have a 2014 ML350 Black Mercedes.   I applied myself. It took me 3 hrs. so I promise you I covered the whole vehicle and used most all of the product. Why does it matter who applied? Product is a DYI and should work regardless. Right?   Does the product get old? Could I have been sold an old product?   NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. So apparently, if you complain it has to be your FAULT it didnt work. But again, it's advertised as a DYI product. hhhmmmm So basically....there is no guarantee. didnt work, your problem.
