Complaint Review: 5th 3rd Bank

Just to make a long story short as I can I am going to be brief but you will understand. I also have an acct at this bank after a year goes by and money being taken out I find out a couple of days after I opened a checking they opened a savings for me and drew $20. out of my new acct I assumed was for my checks.

A few months go by and I am hit with a bunch of bounced checks because fees were taken out because the savings I never knew I had has not had $100.00 in it and I got hit with fees and pentalties which bounce my checks. I never received any statement of a savngs. It cost me approx $200.00 by the time they were done. They then shut my checking down and I was out of state and could not use my acct. I finally got that opened so I could fly home and then close savings out.

Now waiting for papers to transfer my direct deposit to another bank. Never again will I deal with this bank, I feel they are not up front and take advantage of their clients. But that is just my opinion and opinions are like --------- everbody has one. Read the fine print they can change their policy and it is up to you to check for changes. It is called consumer responsiblity I am told.
