Complaint Review: 5th 3rd Bank

5th 3rd bank is the biggest ripoff bank I know of. I'm 54yrs old and never came across any bank like them.
Unfortunately, they hold my mortgage and I'm trying to get out of it. I tried to make a house payment online with them, and they wanted to charge me for doing so.
Not only that, but when your making your monthly payments, your principal is supposed to go down alittle bit. But instead, my mortgage is more than when I started.
So, in order to pay my mortgage and not be late, I have to go to one of their branches, and pay it, and they charge me $27.00 to do so.
A friend of mine wanted to cash a payrole check, and he has an account there, and they wanted to charge him for cashing that check.
The government should really do something about this bank. I thought loan-sharking was against the law.
