5th 3rd Bank This bank charged me $150.00 out of my account,they said the reason was because unemployment checks may not be valid.I feel this was a unaceptable answer, however they did remove one, because I have never had an overdraft before.don't figure. Tampa Florida
I have been layed off for over a year and just recieved my lump sum extention. 5th 3rd bank took $150.00 in fees, because the check had not cleared by noon on the second business day. The normal fee is $6.00, Are they so desperate for money they can get away with this? I did not recive the letter of overdraft charges until 3 days after i learned about the fees. I would like to know why there is no way to get the name or phone number of the Person who made this decision. This is all the money I have, and it feels very cruel!!!!
