I purchased a Nikon D610 on their ebay store in April, 2014. Called customer service prior to purchasing asking them if the camera was "grey market" merchandise, as their ad stated that it may or may not be. Nikon USA will not warranty"Grey Market" merchadise or fix this camera at any price in the US. This camera was only $150 less than retailers like Best Buy, so I thought they were legit. Upon arrival, I opened the memory card and then noticed the tell-tale signs of a "grey market" camera. I called Nikon, gave them the serial number and they confirmed it was grey market merchandise. Upon confronting 6th Avenue, they stated I could return the camera package for a full refund. Then, they stated that due to a memory card I opened, which you can purchase for $40, the 15% re-stocking fee would apply on my $1750 camera package. That's a $262 charge.

What's even worse is they send me a 32GB card instead of the 64GB card that was in the ad. In speaking with the customer service rep = young girls that have to put you on hold numerous times because someone else was making these decisions, they informed me that their ad was incorrect and that they would not send me the 64GB card. The next day, they changed the ad and claimed I recieved the correct card. These folks may have a high satisfactory rating on Ebay with many thousands of sales but I can tell you that they are dishonest and have rip-off business practices. I gave them numerous opportunities to make the situation right, and at every turn, they chose the dishonest path. Do not buy anything from these con-artists!
