7 Digital Marketing Agency Chris Anisere FRAUD ALERT - THEFT OF DEPOSIT - Culver City, California
Seven Digital Marketing Agency and its "founder" Chris Anisere are frauds. After signing a contract with them to complete some web development work for my company, they failed to meet any of their obligations under the contract, refused to return the deposit, and disappeared. They stole 3.5K in the form of a deposit and never completed the work they were supposed to. They sound great initially, but as soon as they receive money from you, you will never hear from them again.

Customers like this are exactly the reason we ask for a deposit. After providing more than half the work (valued at higher than the deposit amount) this customer insisted on adding more and more work to the original scope, while refusing to accept the additional fees the extra work would incur. Why should we do more work without getting paid? We more than met our contractual obligations, however they are in breach of contract.
It is easy to make up lies and pretend we did nothing or that nothing was delivered. In fact, David Sherman of Trademark Tours, 1374 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02138 (tel: 617-674-7788 & 617-275-2320 - http://www.trademarktours.com) has trumped-up these allegations, claiming we provided nothing and simply ran away with his money.
Nothing could be further from the truth! What a reckless thing to say.
All original website design and development files were delivered, a Magento e-commerce back-end setup plus other work performed. Naturally we expect to be paid for our work, just as they do by their customers, and the deposit we initially received certainly did not cover the work performed.
The truth is, we have been ripped-off by Trademark Tours and not the other way round. You might ask him why he is hiding his name, company and true location when making fasle accusations... of course, that's because they are false! He is not from Santa Monica, CA, he is from Cambridge, MA. What do you have to hide Dave? Why would you try to remain anonymous?
It is odd that after more than 6 years of our being in business he is the only person with something negative to say. If, as he claims, we were frauds and simply disappeared with people's money his would not be the only report. Anyone can see that alone makes sense.
Finally, if you are a vendor to David Sherman or Trademark Tours in Cambridge, MA consider doing these three things:
1. Stop dealing with them right now!
2. Be very careful to use a water-tight contract otherwise you will not get paid!
3. If it's too late already, ask for milestone payments so at least you will get paid something.
He and his company should be ashamed.
