Complaint Review: 86th Street Photo & Video

I ordered a camera a month before Christmas. It was advertised as "usually ships in 24 hours." HA.. I received an email to contact them, and they proceeded to offer me other products I "needed" in order to use the camera, such as filters, memory cards and batteries. All these extras were grossly overpriced, at least 2-3 times competitor pricing.

Once I turned down these offers, I received an email indicating the camera was temporarily sold out, and it would be available in approx. 4-5 weeks. I decided to wait. Several weeks went by, and I called them to check the status of the order. I was told the camera was still out of stock but they were expecting it in about 2 weeks.

I called back 2 weeks later (about a week ago), and once again they told me it would be another 2 weeks. Today I received an email stating:
"We regret to inform you that the products you have ordered included in order# ****** are sold out temporarily. However, these products shall be available again within about 5-6 weeks from the date of this email."

What a waste of time!!
