If you see this toll free number 1-888-683-4873 listed anywhere, especially in any tech support forums do not call unless you want them to access your computer with your permission. Very devious, as I was caught off guard & made the foolish mistake of letting them access my PC. & absolutely do not pay them for anything as this phone number is tied to countless fraudulent transactions.

The phony tech support will install the very virus they warn you about, which is the clampi virus. This virus or malware will scan your computer for passwords etc to your paypal account. However, alert paypal about this & monitor your emails from paypal for the next 7 days.

Expect to recieve an email from paypal with money transferred to: NITISH KUMAR of bbest2186@gmail.com

If this should happen to you immediately download malwarebytes or malware hunter & scan your computer for the virus. After you find the virus then quarantine it.

Next immediately change you password information you alowed access thru, then change your Paypal password. Monitor your paypal account for for the next 7 days. The hackers will immediately try withdraw funds from your debit card account or other accounts.

Then you will need to immediately call your bank & report this fraud because noe they have access to your bank account routing number etc via paypal. The hackers will try to steal as much money as possible from your account. Your bank may require you to get a new account & cancel the current hacked account.
