I looked at my credit card statement this month and found two fraudulent charges on my card. One came from this number that originates in Florida.I Called the number and there were foreigners on the other end..Could not understand them so I gave up.
The other fraudulent charge was for a slim dowm product that I know I did not order because if you met me, you could take one look at me and know that I need to gain weight, which I am trying really hard to do.I called my credit card company to tell them about the charges and they immediately closed my account and are filing a dispute for me.
This same thing happened to my brother. He had the same fraudulent charges on his credit card too. We live in the same house, and both own separate computers that are on the same router.When I told him about my problem, he said that they were the same ones, only, they happened a month earlier. You cant trust anyone anymore.
My advise? ALWAYS look at your statements every month. It is worth your time because you just never know when the scammers will strike. And also,make sure you call you credit card company to close your account and file a dispute.You should not have to pay for something you never bought.
